How EAFAF Supports Students:
EAFAF is committed to the success of each and every student at East High School. To meet that goal, EAFAF supports several programs to insure students can meet their goals and realize success in their education and in other areas of their lives. Please visit each of the pages for these programs for more details.
The Student Assistance Fund (SAF) currently serves over 480 students.
The A+ Angels Mentors program pairs adults with students and follows them over a 4-year period.
Angel Packs is a new initiative to provide nutritious meals to students on weekends.
Dollars-A-Day is a supplemental program that is 100% funded through donations based on a $1 per day donation to help East High students meet their needs. Each family that donates contributes what they are able to, based on a 175-day school year.
Other student support projects have included:
- Peer Tutoring & LINK CREW peer mentoring of incoming freshman
- “Hot Wings”- student arm of the Angel Foundation - fundraising for student inspired projects
