Faculty Support

EAFAF supports the faculty of East High through generous funding of materials, curriculum assistance, special programming, and other programs to increase the effectiveness of teaching the students at East High.

This assistance includes:

• Dollars A Day Program- used to support Principal’s discretionary budget
• Sponsor of the multi-year campaign to revitalize East’s science and technology curriculum and install a solar photovoltaic array on the roof
• Sponsor of Academic letters
• Teacher Grants program
• Fiscal sponsor for Papua NuiGiniExchange and Volunteer Project
• Additional staff for:
      Japanese Language 
      Summer school
      Athletic trainer 
      Treasurer’s Office 
      Counseling office 
      AP Language support
• All School Staff Development
• Enhanced Science Curriculum & Instrumental Music Curriculum & Guest Performers
